ESCAPING THE WEB OF REJECTION by Prophet Ryan Lestrange:

The enemy uses rejection as a major tool in the hearts and minds of God's people. He releases an attack or several coordinated attacks to bring trauma to the soul. He then forms a stronghold (system of thoughts) that is intended to trap and dominate a person in emotional bondage. It is absolutely key that we tap into the healing power of Jesus and receive freedom from rejection. Jesus paid it all for us so that we could know and enjoy complete acceptance and freedom!

For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, "Abba! Father!" The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him. (Romans 8:15-17 NASB)

Symptoms of rejection-
*Defensive- rejected people are touchy & defensive because of the wounds.
*Walls built up/distant- rejection forms walls and creates emotional distance.
*Emotional turmoil brewing beneath the surface- there is an unease in the soul of a person dealing with rejection. It is like boiling water hiding just beneath the surface.
*Drama- wounded souls often live in terrible cycles of drama, strife and instability.
*Unhealthy and unstable relationships- the wounded soul reaches out for other broken people and does not know how to have normal, healthy relationships.
*Unrealistic expectations- rejection will look for love & acceptance from others creating very unrealistic relational demands & expectations.
