Sunday, December 1, 2013....Let's FINISH STRONG!

December is here!  No matter what let's focus and...

Share if this year you plan to

Colossians 1:10-14 So as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

James 1:3  For you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.

Philippians 1:6 And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

Think about it...the feeling you get when your spouse tells you how important you are.  Have you told that to your spouse lately? Have you demonstrated that to him/her lately?

Successfully Single Moment from Shannon Yvette Tanner: (@ShannonYvette)

November 17, 2013---Faith and Trust Work Together

November 17, 2013-----Faith and Trust Work Together!

From Victoria Osteen's Blog at www.victoriaosteen.com:

A Different Approach

November 08, 2013
I was talking to a young man one day, and he was telling me how he wanted to become more positive. He knew his attitude was keeping him from God's best, but he wasn't sure how to get past how he was feeling. I said, "Why don't you try a different approach? Why don't you try changing your focus? Maybe you don't like your job, but you can thank God that you at least have a job. That's more than a lot of people. Maybe you don't like where you are in life right now, but thank God that you are breathing and living and that you have options ahead of you even if you don't see them right now."
See, sometimes we can try to change things around us, but really what we need to do is change our approach. One thing I've discovered is that a person of faith sees with a heart of gratefulness. When you approach life with a grateful heart, you see your problems as smaller and your God as bigger. It puts things back into perspective. When you look at life with a grateful heart, it opens the door for God to move on your behalf.

Today, know that God has a good plan for your life. Stay close to Him by praising and thanking Him for what He is doing. He wants to be Lord over your victories and your challenges. He wants you to thank Him in the times of blessing and in the difficult times. He knows that we are all a work in progress, and He wants us to draw near to Him so that He can draw near to us. If you find yourself needing to make a change, start by changing your approach. Keep your heart filled with gratitude and let Him complete the work He's begun in your life.

"For it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure." (Phil 2:13, NASB)
Power Thought for the Week from Dr. Mark Chironna:
Once you become focused and intentional the tendency for the critical and argumentative thoughts your mind provides to hinder you... disappear. BE INTENTIONAL!

Marriage Moment from Praying For Her:
As a Christian husband, you would readily give your life to protect your wife.  Yet every day, satan implements a plan to destroy your wife.  The Bible says he comes to kill, steal and destroy.  Whether you like it or not, your wife is in a daily battle.  Your wife needs spiritual covering and encouragement.  God expects you to set the spiritual tempo in your relationship. Begin praying for her now...

Successfully Single Moment from Neely Terrell
If your desire is to get married, you must not continue to say that it may never happen.  If you are truly serious and prayerful about love, God counts on you to speak it into existence and believe.  Trust Him and remain optimistic toward love.

November 10, 2013----Trust God and Believe in Good Things to Come!

With God

Your life is full of possibilities...

Matthew 19:26 The Message
Jesus looked hard at them and said, "No chance at all if you think you can pull it off yourself.  Every chance in the world if you trust God to do it."

Phillips New Testament:
Jesus looked steadily at them and replied, "Humanly speaking it is impossible; but with God anything is possible!"

Power Thought for the Week from Sophia A. Nelson:
Your character is what ultimately helps take you to the top. Your character and relationships matter.  Choose wisely.

Marriage Moment from Marriage Works @ mrgwrks
Your mate needs your prayers and unconditional love more than criticism.  Sow what you'd like to reap yourself.  From Nancy Leigh Moss:
Bless your husband by praying for him! The Apostle Paul instructed all Christians to pray for one another (Ephesians 6:18). This includes wives’ responsibility and privilege to pray for their husbands. Earnest prayer for your husband is good for him, for you and the spiritual health of your home (Proverbs 31:11-12). Satan desires to destroy your husband, especially his character and his leadership in your relationship. Trust God through prayer as you daily surrender your husband and marriage to the Lord’s wise, loving care.
