Sunday, March 20, 2016---Little Compromises

LITTLE COMPROMISES CAN GET YOU COOKED! via Apostle Axel Sippach

If in a believer's spiritual journey of faith, he or she keeps making continual little compromises here and there, it can lead to big results - one too many compromises that gets you cooked.
Its like if you put the frog into boiling hot water, he will jump right out. But if you put him in cold water and slowly turn up the heat, before he knows it he's cooked, paralyzed, and can't get out anymore.

Playing with sin is a dangerous thing. It's easy to find some justification for the "little compromises" but the truth is, that satan has a plan to "paralyze" you through the sin of those small compromises until you have no more effectiveness as a Christian.

Sure, you may go to church out of a feeling of religious obligation - you're an expert at doing the church stuff - but you are really paralyzed in your spirit, and have backslidden in your heart.
We must guard against those "little compromises" that lead to big spiritual results.

"Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, with a continual lust for more." Ephesians 4:19

"No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it." 1 Corinthian 10:13

There is always a way out! But you must chose it.

"Pray for us, for we are sure that we have a clear conscience, desiring to act honorably in all things." Hebrews 13:18
