Last night as I was getting ready for bed The Lord began speaking to me and He said: I have given my people new shoes for a new journey. As I pondered what He was saying to me me more began to unfold. I believe that 2014 has been a time of both shaking and shifting for many. In the midst of the shaking some abandoned posts, some gave up altogether and others remained faithful. For those who have remained The Lord is Shifting you onto new pathways, new assignments or even new dimensions of a long term assignment. You simply can not navigate the path in the shoes that you wore last season. There is a release into new GIFTS or NEW LEVELS of spiritual gifts in your life. God is OPENING up spiritual doorways and EQUIPPING you for the journey ahead. There are assignments and mandates that you have never walked out before that you will walk out in this season. Part of the identity of God is that of PROVIDER, He is providing every GIFT, TOOL, REVELATION and ABILITY that is needed for the season that He is bringing you into.

As you are being given new shoes (in a spiritual sense) the purpose is to navigate the Shift! Have you ever bought a pair of new shoes that were made of fine leather and were stiff at first? They tend to hurt your feet and feel uncomfortable because they have not been broken in. Many in this hour are being STRETCHED and may feel uncomfortable in the moment but The Father is asking us to REMAIN FAITHFUL, wear the NEW SHOES and STAY the COURSE. There is a GREAT BLESSING in obedience and faithfulness. We are being moved into ASSIGNMENTS that we have never WALKED IN before and there is a level of intimidation that will try to hold us back BUT God has FULLY EQUIPPED US! As we move into NEW assignments, or a different level of FUNCTION our natural man may FEEL uncomfortable because it is NEW but our SPIRIT man is WELL ABLE! We must live out of our SPIRIT because many of the SHIFTS taking place are simply the fulfillment of promises that we were given years ago. We are moving onto NEW pathways. There are SHIFTS in where we are in The Spirit, where we are in our call, even where we serve in the Body. The key is to keep our eyes on Jesus. He has it all worked out!

Jeremiah 29:11 (MSG) I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out – plans to take care of you, not to abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for.
