September 27, 2015-----WHAT YOU THINK MATTERS!

This is another excerpt from the "Spending Daily Moments With God" devotional ...

"Do you realize that sometimes it's just a thought that is holding you back from receiving God's best in your life? A thought that leads to a mindset that limits God's movement in your life. How do you see God? Do you see Him as Healer, Deliverer, Provider, and Friend? Do you see Him in the #1 position in your life where He takes priority in everything you do and everything you say?"

It does matter how we see God. If you don't see God as a Healer, you won't believe Him for your healing. If you don't see Him as a Deliverer, you won't trust Him for your deliverance. If you don't see Him as your Provider, you will seek other means for provision. If you don't see Him as your friend, you will seek comfort and companionship in other people and other things. Amen

SEASONS CHANGE FROM PROPHETESS TERA CARISSA

‪Dined at one of my favorite upscale chain restaurants today, ‪#‎CapitalGrille‬. No matter what city I'm in, Capital Grille is dependable.When the waitress brought out the menu tonight, I noticed it said Fall Menu. In other words, the seasons and what is being offered in this new season has changed. Some things I may have enjoyed last season are simply no longer available. So it is with you! Welcome to the season where #change must take place and what was available and enjoyable to you last season, is now no longer an option if you are to enjoy this season and the ‪#‎blessings‬ that come along with it. It's time to grow up, mature, and be season appropriate. Apostle Paul said when I was a child, I thought like a child. But, when I became a man, i.e. when I outgrew last season, I put away childish things, 1 Corinthians 13. What worked last season, what you got away with last season, is now no longer an option. Change is here so CHANGE. It's for God's Glory and YOUR benefit.

Anticipation----September 6, 2015

A SEASON OF ANTICIPATION

I have lived through 65 seasons of fall. You would think by now I would fully understand the coming and going of each new season. This morning as I sat in the early morning darkness, I heard the distant sound of a truck shifting gears. At the moment the driver shifted into a higher gear the Lord deposited a fresh sense of anticipation in my heart for new season that is approaching.

I heard the Lord say, “Get ready.” God is beginning to deposit anticipation in His people for a coming shift into a new season. This will not be the anticipation of what was known and repeated in past seasons of life, but a movement into something new and not yet experienced. When this anticipation arrives it bring with it an expectation that God will perform what He promised.
I felt the Lord saying:
• Anticipate spiritual, emotional and mental breakthrough in your family.
• Anticipate safe passage through a dangerous circumstance.
• Anticipate a financial blessing you had not planned or predicted.
• Anticipate clarity of thinking to come and bring resolution to old problems.
• Anticipate your enemies will become your allies.
• Anticipate misunderstanding will be turned into agreement.
• Anticipate old divisions will be healed.
• Anticipate what was lost will be found.
• Anticipate a prodigal will begin the journey home.
Your assignment in this coming season is to anticipate the arrival of God’s goodness in your life. Your childlike faith has been mocked in the past, but will soon be seen as the most mature response you could make while surrounded by a culture of unbelief and fear.

Now more than ever there are opportunities for distraction: phones, TV, browsing the internet, work, over-committing to activities.....the list goes on.
Everything, everyone is fighting for your attention.
We must make building emotional intimacy in our marriages a priority. Otherwise we risk losing closeness as we go from task to task, from one distraction to another...
...

Make sure you're spending quality time with your spouse.
